After purchasing a packet of Christmas M & M’s, we decided to make this fun and easy to make M & M Christmas Cookies.

These cookies are so easy to make that many older kids could make them on their own with supervision. This is also an easy recipe to start kids out who want to learn how to cook.
Once you have mixed all the ingredients together, roll the mixture into balls.
Press a M & M into the cookies and then bake until golden brown.

Simple Living. Creative LearningThese M and M Christmas Cookies are simple to make and yummy to eat. They are a great way to introduce young children to baking.
Ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 165 g caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 300 g plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder

- Line baking trays with baking paper.
- Preheat oven to 180˚C.
- Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs.
- Slowly mix through the plain flour and baking powder.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and push a m&m into the middle.
- Bake for 10-15 mins until lightly golden.
Thermo mixer Instructions
- Line baking trays with baking paper.
- Preheat oven to 180˚C.
- Add all ingredients to the bowl of the bellini and mix SP5 10 secs.
- Scrape down the sides and mix again SP5, 10 secs. Repeat if necessary.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and push a m&m into the middle.
- Bake for 10-15 mins until lightly golden.
Notes
Store in an airtight container.
