Melktart Fudge (Milk Tart Fudge)

We all love the Melktart (Milk Tart) and Fudge, so when I came across this recipe I knew I just had to try it.
 
It is a very rich fudge, so I would recommend that it be cut into small squares. It is lovely with a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

Ingredients
  1. 800g sugar
  2. 250g butter
  3. 250ml milk
  4. 250 ml condensed milk
  5. 10 ml vanilla
  6. 10 ml cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan (a large saucepan as it does increase in volume when you boil it) and bring to the boil over low heat while stirring with a wooden spoon.
  2. Continue to stir until mixture is golden brown and thickens , about 25-30 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and beat on low speed with an electric mixer until mixture is creamy.
  4. Line a 20x30cm baking dish with baking paper. Pour in fudge mixture and cool.
  5. Place on chopping board and cut.
